BIOGRAPHY
Antonia San Juan Fernández is a Spanish actress, screenwriter, director and producer, born on May 22, 1961, in Gran Canaria, Spain. When she turned 21 and with ambitions to make a name for herself in the world of cinema, Antonia moved to Madrid to work in stand-up shows and monologues, in addition to writing for other actresses. She soon made her film debut, in a small role in the film Forgive me, but Lucas loved me (1996). However, it would be a few years later that, with the role of Agrado in the successful film directed by Pedro Almodóvar, All About My Mother (1999), the actress began to quickly gain fame. This film would win her the Goya Award for Best New Actress. In her career as an actress, Antonia has participated in films such as Under the Legs (2002), The Box (2006), Desechos (2010), The Time of the Monsters (2015), as well as television series such as La que se cerca ( 2009-2014) and Gym Tony (2014-2015).
