American Chris Sacca is a famous man who has worked his way up to become a venture investor, management consultant, entrepreneur and public speaker. He is the owner of an American venture capital fund, Lowercase Capital, and a former head of special initiatives at Google Inc. He is known for having invested in several companies when they were still trying to flourish in their early stages. Some of the reputable establishments include Instagram, Twitter, Uber, Stripe, Blue Bottle, and Kickstarter among dozens of others.

Besides all of the above, Sacca is known for a few things as well. Some of these are his regular button down shirts – “cowboy shirt”. He is known not only for his investments and entrepreneurial skills, but also for his numerous appearances in Forbes magazine, Business Week and Vanity Fair. He was ranked among the top investors by Forbes. He made history the youngest person on the list, which included 99 others (2011)

Christopher Sacca was born on May 12, 1975 to a lawyer father and a professor father. Although born and raised in America, his ancestry traces back to Italy.

Growing up, Chris Sacca and his brotherBrian Sacca, an actor and comedian, were encouraged to do innovative jobs. Her parents made her study hard and opened her mind to things outside of the classroom by visiting science museums or even book reading events.

His education was solid and he had shown a keen interest in mathematics from Lockport High School. Because of his success and love of mathematics, he decided to enroll at the State University of New York, where he majored in Advanced Mathematics.

Chris Sacca continued his educational quest at The Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in Washington DC. After graduating in 1997, he became an Edmund Evans Memorial Scholar and a Weeks Family Foundation Scholar. He subsequently received a Juris Doctor cum laude and was also a member of The Tax Lawyer while a student at Georgetown University Law Center.

Chris Sacca’s Entrepreneurship Journey BeganWhile studying law, he took out a loan to start a business. However, the company that was started with the received student loans did not prosper mentally. Despite this, Chris Sacca was not discouraged by the failure, instead funneling the remaining funds to the stock market.

However, in 1998 he explored and learned a flaw in the software of online trading brokers where he could turn a small amount of money into a huge amount of money. Unfortunately for Chris Sacca, the market that appeared to be developing crashed leaving $4 million in debt. He took out a loan from friends.

Chris Sacca was lucky enough to get a job shortly after the market crash. He worked briefly for Fenwick and West. He founded his Salinger Group and later a position at Google in 2003, where he began as corporate counsel. He became Google’s Head of Special Initiatives, where he founded and led Google’s Access division, which includes initiatives for 700MHz and TV white spectrum, the company’s groundbreaking data centers and more.

For all his success and accolades at Google including the Founder’s Award, Sacca left the company in 2007 to start his own investment business – Angel Investments, which he went on to invest in Twitter and more. He founded the lowercase capital in 2010 and often speaks about investing in the Shark Tanks.
