BIOGRAPHY
Kristin Davis, born Kristin Landen Davis, grew up in Columbia with her mother and stepfather. She dreamed of becoming an actress from the age of 10 and very quickly became a member of the theater company “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”. After studying at Rugters University, she left New Jersey to settle in New York, where she opened a yoga salon, a sport she was passionate about. If she started her career in the cinema in 1987 with the horror film Doom Asylum , it was television that gave her her first chances: a stint in the soap Alliances & betrayals , appearances in Emergencies and Doctor Quinn, female doctor and finally his first major role in Melrose Place in 1995, a very popular series broadcast in several countries around the world. Her character, the odious Brooke Armstrong, one of the main characters of season 4, is so hated by the public that the production decides to part ways with her at the end of the season.

In 1998, Kristin Davis was chosen to play Charlotte York, the role that gave her real international fame in the very daring HBO series Sex & the City . Bubbly, dreamy and well-mannered, she is the most romantic of the four New York friends. A character that will quickly stick to him! After the end of Sex & the City , six seasons later, Kristin Davis cultivated this image of a sympathetic young woman through family comedies and children’s films, including The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl , Raymond and Neighbor Against Neighbor . She even lends her voice to the animated heroine Miss Spider’s Sunny Patch Friends . Four years after the end of Sex & the City , Kristin Davis reprises the role of Charlotte in the film adaptation Sex and the City – The Movie .
