Motorcyclist Dies After Collision With Car in South Reno | News

A motorcyclist is dead after a collision with a car on Double R Boulevard in south Reno Wednesday night.
The crash happened just before 7 p.m. and temporarily closed a portion of Maestro Street.
Police say the motorcyclist was heading north when it collided with a southbound car as the car was turning left into a private driveway.
The unidentified motorcycle rider died on scene.
Police say the other driver stayed on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
Several witnesses also remained on scene.
Police say speed appears to be a factor in the deadly crash.
