One person dies in rafting accident at Skippers Canyon, Queenstown

One person has died following a rafting incident in the Queenstown-Lakes district.

Police were called to Skippers Canyon at 4pm after emergency services were told that a raft had flipped.

Maritime NZ, RCCNZ and TAIC have all been advised.
