BIOGRAPHY
Trine Dyrholm began her artistic career at a very young age and began by breaking into the field of music. She recorded her first album at the age of 14 and regularly performs in concerts. When she came of age, she began studying at Statens Teaterskole, a large Danish school which teaches theater and dance.

In 1990, she made her first film called Springflod , a romantic comedy for teenagers. Then the actress made TV films for Danish television, such as Cecilia or Lille John . In 1998, she made a decisive film for her career, Festen by Thomas Vinterberg , which she returned to in 2000 for Les Héros . In this run through Sweden, the actress once again plays opposite Thomas Bo Larsen and Ulrich Thomsen , who were both also in the casting of Festen.

No stranger to dramatic comedies, she plays an inmate with strange powers in In Your Hands then a young woman with a broken heart in Soap . Impressed by her performance in Festen, director Erik Poppe hired her to play a mother convinced that her son was murdered by Pål Sverre Valheim Hagen in Troubled Waters (2009). Two years later, she lent her features to the character of Marianne, Mikael Persbrandt ‘s ex-wife in Revenge . Susanne Bier ‘s film also won the Oscar for Best Foreign Film.

In 2012, the director offered him a new collaboration, but on a lighter tone: that of the romantic comedy Love is all you need . She thus participates in this Italian romance alongside Pierce Brosnan , before taking part in another love story the same year: that which unites Mads Mikkelsen and Alicia Vikander , respectively doctor and wife of the King of Denmark Christian VII , in Royal Affair .
